About
Welcome!
My name is Sharleen, and I have been a professional gardener in Philadelphia for more than 15 years. I began my career in 2002 as an apprentice at a private butterfly and hummingbird sanctuary nestled in the mountains of southern Vermont. After returning to Philadelphia in 2006, I have continued to work professionally, developing a deep understanding of the techniques, challenges, and unique considerations of urban gardening—particularly within the Philadelphia landscape.
I am passionate about creating beautiful, functional green spaces that people can enjoy for years to come, and I look forward to many more years of thoughtful garden design and stewardship.
My company is committed to quality in every aspect of our work, from recognizing the horticultural potential of each site to honoring the aesthetic vision and personal preferences of our clients. I lead a small, highly skilled crew that values attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism. The quality of our work speaks for itself.
We are also dedicated to environmentally responsible practices, including the use of natural and non-toxic pest and disease controls, local composting of organic debris, and the incorporation of native and pollinator-friendly plants whenever possible.
